Welcome to the Combat Operations Group (Airsoft)
Welcome to the combat operations group. We have been around the Utah airsoft scene for a long time. We have seen the changes that airsoft has undergone from a technology stand point with new airsoft guns being marketed, and the evolution in tactics and training that have been incorporated into the game, making it what it is today. But, one thing is for certain, if we want to see airsoft stick around for years to come, airsoft must be played safely, and responsibly. Here on this page, you will find standards governing how we participate in airsoft. Everything from standards on joining the Combat Operations Group to safety rules and standards on how to wear our team patch on the uniform. Also, I might add, at no time will we charge our operators for anything we furnish! That includes gear, guns, ammo, and uniforms!

Issue uniforms and issue gear
All of our operators are issued a uniform, and combat gear when they join the team. Also, we furnish all guns, ammo, training, and airsoft gun maintenance and support (for those who purchase their own airsoft guns) for our operators. All we expect of you, the prospective operator is to come out to our games with a good attitude, and participate in all unit games and activities with good standing and behavior.
Safety eye ware and safety at our operations and BoE operations
Safety is a big priority in this unit, and we take operator safety very seriously. If a operator is hurt, they will receive first aid immediately after a injury, no matter how serious. All operators are required to report injuries no matter how small to our team medics as soon as possible.
All of our operators undergo mandatory first aid training during their 8 game basic training period when they join the unit. All of our team medics are advanced first aid and CPR certified.
All of our operators must wear safety goggles. ONLY ANSZI rated eye wear can be worn. All operators will furnish their own safety eye ware. These are not a issued uniform item. You can purchase ANSZI eye ware at the following locations: Walmart, Cal-Ranch, Big 5 Sporting goods in Tooele, Utah and Tactical Air Soft Supply in Salt Lake City, or Weapon Blender also in Salt Lake City, Utah.
If you cannot run it,hump it, jump it, or dodge it, do not do it! It is not worth it to harm yourself or others trying something you should not have done to begin with. Remember, this is airsoft...and after a days worth of fun and "battles", we get to go home and comeback out the next week and do it allover again.
If you are injured severely, (ankle sprains, bad falls, head injuries, broken bones etc.), stay in place! DO NOT MOVE! We will come extract you or call EMS to come extract you. If you are caught walking or moving under your own power with a severe injury, you will be asked to leave the unit and asked to never come back.
Watch head shots. Although head shots cannot be helped sometimes, remember out of courtesy to watch shots to the head or the face...no one likes to get hurt by a face or head shot. All shots should be placed center of mass at all times (torso area)
Watch your minimum engagement distances at all times!
